Hold me tight
This project was an idea between me and my photographer friend Aimilia May.
A night, as we were in Prague of Czech Republic, living in a temporary flat,
she wore my boxing self defense mask and we decided to photograph some portraits in every room of that flat.
The title was inevitable. I thought about the relation between the body, the facial expression, the posture,
the objects and the location. In the process of trying to explain that, I thought that this boxing helmet is used for self-defense. Additionally, in the portraits it means self-defense, but not only. The same object reveals and exudes a side of searching for a tight touch,
which contradicts the real use of this object.
